Watch: Trailer for Chadwick Boseman’s Last Film Released!

Chadwick Boseman’s posthumous release Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom just dropped its first trailer, reported Variety. The Netflix original, during which the late actor stars alongside Viola Davis, will be his previous film.

Plot Details

Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom is about within the backdrop of Chicago’s blues scene within the late 1920s. Supported August Wilson’s award-winning play of an equivalent name.

Moreover, it follows the iconic blues singer Ma Rainey, portrayed by Davis. The story explores problems with race.

George C Wolfe is directing the movie. He won Tony Awards for Broadway hits like Angels in America: Millennium Approaches.

Release Date

Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom is coming out in theatres on 18th December 2020. Boseman, an actor whose work celebrated African-American pioneers and culture. He died at age 43 after a four-year battle with carcinoma in August.
