Jorge Lorenzo is still considering the steps he will take after retiring as a MotoGP rider. Test rider is an option for Lorenzo.
Lorenzo closed his career as a MotoGP rider At the end of the 2019 season. The man from Spain closed his 18-year career in the racing world with five world titles.
After retiring, Lorenzo had stated he would return to Paddock. Later rumors developed that said Lorenzo would be a Yamaha test rider.
Lorenzo admitted that he was still considering an offer to become a test rider. However, he wants to enjoy his retirement first.
“That is one of the possibilities offered to me,” Lorenzo told Motosan.es as reported by Crash.
‘Enjoying more free time is one of the reasons why I decided to retire,’ he continued.
‘So now I want to have a lot of free time, so I can do things that I couldn’t do for the past 18 years. If you offer me a project that doesn’t need much time and I hope that I will at least learn it.’
