The Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal said on Tuesday that the ankle operation was successful without any complications and difficulties.
“Hello everyone. Thank you for the messages I received yesterday and today. The operation on the ankle went well,” Nadal said on his Twitter account.
The doctors said that the operation went well without any difficulties.
Nadal announced on Monday that he will not play the ATP Finals in London, the tournament that closes the season, due to an abdominal injury.
Nadal’s withdrawal from the ATP Finals determined that Serbian Novak Djokovic ends the year as number one in the world.
