Juergen Klopp certainly did not attend when Liverpool played a rematch against Shrewsbury Town in the fourth round of the 2019/2020 FA Cup. The position of the coach is occupied by Neil Critchley.
Neil Critchley who has been caring for Liverpool U-23 will be trusted to coach the Reds squad at Anfield Stadium on Wednesday (2/5/2020).
‘The manager (Juergen Klopp, red ) has made things quite clear with the statement and what he said before the match,’ Critchley was quoted as saying by Tribuna on Tuesday (2/2/2020).
‘His presence, even if he is not there, is always felt by young players and by me. I also think maybe one percent has emerged,’ continued Critchley.
Previously reported, Liverpool will not lose senior players against Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup fourth round rematch 2019/2020.
The Reds need a win when they host Shrewsbury Town, the reason in their first meeting was held to a 2-2 draw. In that position, Klopp insisted he would not lose the main squad.
