Lewis Hamilton won the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday to move one step closer to the Formula One title, while his Ferrari rival Sebastian Vettel finished sixth after colliding with Max Verstappen.
Hamilton led the race from pole to finish with his Mercedes, finishing 12.9 seconds ahead of team-mate Valtteri Bottas. Verstappen finished third.
The Brit now has a 67-point advantage over Vettel with four races remaining and can secure the championship next week with a win in Austin if the German does not finish second.
Hamilton’s options are great, given that the U.S. Grand Prix is usually given well, in fact, he has won every race except one since 2012.
