Alabama football player Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail on Saturday, according to jail records obtained by multiple outlets, including the Associated Press. The sophomore defensive back was charged with three counts of reckless endangerment, one count of attempting to elude police, and speeding.
Kirkpatrick secured his release within an hour of booking after posting a $1,500 bond. The University of Alabama Police Department is leading the investigation into the incident, though specific circumstances surrounding the arrest had not been made public as of Monday.
